The Pricing Features of 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe
Nissan is hoping that the Altima coupe will perform like its competitors: the more sedanish two-doors Toyota and Honda in that it will give Nissan's mainstream mid-size car the sales boost it needs to put it on par with the Accord and the Camry, whose two-door versions bolster sales by roughly 25 percent. This is exactly why Nissan would want that, too.
Pre-ordering for the Nissan Altima coupe has now begun, meaning that pricing has been announced. The cheapest model, equipped with:
1. A six-speed manual transmission and 2.5-liter four-cylinder, will start at $20,490, whereas
2. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) come at a price of $500 more.
3. True thrills will cost $24,890, which is the price of a 3.5-liter VQ-series engine equipped model with a six-speed manual. Again, a CVT will cost an extra $500. For a car that looks like a Nissan-badged Infiniti G37, that's a great price. We think they'll have no problem selling.
