On the safety front, every Jazz variant now carries a 5-Star ANCAP safety rating, thanks to the addition of side/curtain airbags and VSA electronic stability control to all models. Previously, only the GLi-SP variant offered these as standard.

Along with six airbags and VSA, the Jazz range also features front and rear seatbelt reminders, a multi-information display and ABS with Brake Assist. Styling updates see the 2011 Jazz gain a restyled front bumper and a mesh-like grille design, along with LED taillights. In the cabin, all 2011 Jazz variants get a satin-finish centre dash panel, as well as a multi-information display that provides fuel consumption details, time travelled, trip meters and more.

Equipment upgrades include USB audo connectivity and A-pillar mounted Bluetooth. Engine options remain unchanged, power coming from a 73kW/127Nm 1.3 litre petrol engine for the GLi, and a 88kW/145Nm 1.5 litre petrol engine in the VTi and VTi-S.
