We've heard the rumors circulating for some time, and now it looks as though we have our first confirmed report. According to the  Japanese media outlet. Sometime in 2008 to  North America Nissan will indeed be bringing its Cube subcompact .

In an attempt to increase U.S. sales Nissan will send the fully redesigned Cube, scheduled to debut in Japan early next year, to our shores along with two other subcompacts without citing sources, the Japanese reports.

The Cube could ultimately make a European debut down the road as well according to another report.Nissan is planning on debuting, or pricing information, but the current Cube certainly has enough style to make a head-to-head run at Scion's xB, which to us has lost some of its quirky appeal after its recent redesign.
